A dry Kerala condiment powder in the style of chammanthi podi, kept at the table with rice, kanji, idli, and dosa.

Roasted coconut, dried chilli, and curry-leaf notes give it a toasted, savoury flavour that needs only a spoonful.

Mix with a little coconut oil, or serve it plain beside a meal.
